HI, I’M MARCIA

An Australian Artist.

"I paint because it's my sanctuary, a refuge where I find solace and healing. Each stroke is a release, a cathartic expression of emotions that are often too complex for words. In the rhythm of my brush against the canvas, I discover a therapeutic dance that soothes the wounds of the soul. Painting is not just an artistic endeavor; it's a healing source that mends the fractures within, allowing me to confront, process, and ultimately transcend the challenges of life. The colors I choose and the forms I create become a visual language for my inner healing journey, a testament to the transformative power of art as a therapeutic medium”

With a distinctive shape characterised by an open, spreading crown and long, twisting branches, Puglia Pines mimic the graceful form and asymmetrical silhouette which lend them to assume an air of elegance and charm of the European Pine tree, which can evoke romantic sentiments when travelling throughout Europe.

I noticed this the most while travelling around the Mediterranean Sea. Pine trees have always been a big part of my life and was the scent of my childhood. I grew up around Australian pine trees, (my father and grandfather before him owned and operated a pine timber sawmill in Macedon, Victoria) So their shape, sense or smell are a species I find particularly special. I spent hours and hours playing amongst the huge logs on the Australian pines. I earned pocket money raking up their shavings.
